Sessions focus on

Mobility and conditioning

Full activation plus shoulder and lower back maintenance, so you can keep surfing at this level.

Critical wave selection

Read which waves will barrel and which will close out, and commit to late take offs.

Speed, line and commitment

Hold a high line, control speed through a section, and know when to stall and when to drive.

Airs and grabs

Approach, compression and pop timing. Straight airs, reverses and alley oops, with grabs for control.

Tube riding

Stance, front arm and eye line, the right stall for the section, and backhand pig dog and rail grab.

Big wave preparation

Step ups and guns, committed paddling, late drops, breath hold and decisions under pressure.

Frame by frame video

Every wave filmed and reviewed in detail, down to the moment your weight transfers.

Between Peregian Beach and Sunshine Beach. Your coach picks the best spot on the day for the conditions.

What happens if the waves are bad?

We use the surf skate and land training to work on your turns, so the muscle memory carries straight back into the water.
